IDA created a new design language for Energizer’s new series of metal performance LED flashlights. The Energizer T700 LED flashlight is the first in this new range which is powered off two lithium CR123 batteries, and produces 700 lumens of light output. The lights have been designed to be durable with aircraft grade aluminium construction, are weather and impact resistant, and have IPX4 certification.

Some of the design language elements include a symmetrical body form with a recessed mid-section and a knurled texture which creates a secure grip handle area. The design also features cooling fin details on the front head that assist with heat dissipation from the LED’s.
